Description

Dovecote Cottage, originally a dovecote, dates to 1713. The cottage is constructed of red brick with tile and pantile roofing to its steeply pitched, brick-coped gabled roof, featuring kneelers and a single gable stack. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows display varied designs, with a large-pane sash window on the ground floor east side and a casement window on the west side. The first floor has two glazing bar sash windows. A central ornamental niche is located on the first floor, likely originally containing a plaque or insignia. A single-storey brick extension is situated at the rear. The building is included on the listing for group value only.
