Description
The Willow Tree Public House is a mid-18th century building located on Front Street in Barnby in the Willows. It is constructed of painted brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables, kneelers, and a single gable stack. The building is a single storey plus attic, with an additional single storey wing to the west.
The central entrance has a double door with a plain surround and a flat projecting wooden canopy above. This doorway is flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows that have glazing bars and segmental arches above them. A brick band runs above these windows. The two dormer windows also feature Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. The west wing includes a casement window and a fixed light.
