Description
School House is a cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables, kneelers, dentilled eaves, and a single ridge stack. The building is a single storey with a dormer and garret. The doorway is off-centre and has a 20th-century door with a plain surround and a 20th-century trellis porch. On the west side, there are two Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with segmental arches. The dormer also contains a Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars. The front of the building has two plus-shaped tie plates, and there is a brick outshut extension at the rear.
