Description

The Old Forge is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick with rendering beneath the ground floor windows and features a pantile roof with two gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a panelled door with a plain surround and a later canopy, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there is a central blind window flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, all of which are set under segmental arches. Additionally, there is a lean-to structure on the north side of the building.
