Description

No. 81 on Main Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a pantile roof with coped gables and kneelers, along with a single gable stack. The building has two storeys and exhibits irregular fenestration. It includes a first-floor band and dentilled eaves. The doorway is located on the west side and has a slightly projecting hood with a flat wooden surround, leading to a 20th-century door. On the east side, there are two glazing bar sash windows, with a single glazing bar sash above and a small single glazing bar casement, all set beneath segmental arches.
