Description

No. 23 on Main Street is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is built from coursed rubble stone and features a 20th-century buff tile roof with stone stacks at each end. The cottage has two storeys and three windows across the front. There is a central wooden porch leading to a six-panelled door with glazed top panels. Above the door, there is a two-light horizontal sliding sash window. On either side of the cottage, there are mid-19th-century canted bays with sash windows, and above these bays, there are three-light casement windows. This building is included for its group value.
