Description

No. 35 on Stourton Lane is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is two stories high and has three windows across the front. A central half-glazed 20th-century door is set within a gabled porch, with a 2-light casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three 2-light casement windows. There are single-storey extensions attached to both sides; the left extension has a 2-light casement in a blocked doorway, while the right extension features a planked door. At the rear, the cottage also has 2-light casement windows. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in October 1986.
