Description
Dovecote, Hunter's End is a row of three cottages, dating from around 1830 to 1840, which were remodeled from earlier structures. The cottages are built of flint with brick dressings and feature dentil eaves and a plain tile roof. There are two brick chimneys, with the one between the right bays made partly of thin 17th to 18th century brick. The buildings are two storeys high, and each cottage has two bays of paired wooden casements; one bay has glazing bars while the other has single horizontal glazing bars. The end cottages include larder windows. Each cottage has a 20th-century board door with a minimal lean-to hood at the center. All openings are framed with bonded brick surrounds, and those on the ground floor have segmental heads.
