Description

BENTHAM CALF COP SD 67 SW 1/6 Calf Cop Farmhouse 20.2.58 GV II Farmhouse. Dated 1680 with C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone slate roof. Lobby entrance faces away from road. 2 storeys, 4 bays, scattered fenstration. Left-hand gable, entrance porch; c1980 door. Entrance has moulded surround with basket arched head to decorated lintel, dated with initials IA:G; 4 panel door. C20 ground-floor window to right and extreme right-hand double chamfered 2-light window; C20 casements. 4 C20 windows on upper floor. Ridge stack to right of entrance. Rear: scattered fenestration. All windows have C20 casements. Ground floor: 3 former C17 2-light chamfered mullioned windows with mullions now gone, one large late C19/early C20 2-light chamfered mullioned window; right-hand c1980 single-light window. Upper floor: single-light chamfered window, one former 2-light and one former 3-light chamfered mullioned window with mullions missing, one C20 window on left-hand side. Interior not accessible.
