Description

This is a mounting block and milestone located approximately 3.5 meters northwest of Number 4A on Town Street in Old Malton. It is possibly from the 18th century and made of sandstone. The structure features three worn steps and has a round-headed recess for a mile plate on the roadside, as well as a bench mark.
