Description

This is a mid-19th century villa, forming part of Park Parade. It is a three-storey double-fronted building with three windows. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, with projecting eaves. The exterior is constructed of grit stone ashlar with sill bands. It features recessed sash windows, and an entrance bay flanked by splayed bays that rise through the ground and first floors, topped with cornices. A well-detailed Roman Doric doorcase includes triglyphs in the frieze, a semi-elliptical arched doorway, a radial fanlight, and a fielded and panelled door. Numbers 8 to 13 and 15 to 20, Park Parade, form a group.
