Description
16 and 17 Park Parade are a pair of early to mid-19th century buildings. They are three storeys tall and have basements, with two windows each. The roofs are covered with Welsh slate and feature a ridge stack made of yellow Scarborough brick. The facades are finished in stucco and include a wooden eaves band. The buildings have flush framed sash windows with exposed boxing. The entrances are flanked by splayed bay windows that have segmental arched lights and cornices, extending through the ground and first floors. The doorways are adorned with fanlights and panelled doors. There are cast iron railings with urn finials. Nos 8 to 13 and Nos 15 to 20 Park Parade form a group with these buildings.
