Description

20 Park Parade is an early 19th century building, originally used as a Nonconformist chapel. It is three storeys high with a dormer roof and has three windows. The roof is slate-covered, and the facade is stuccoed with a rusticated ground floor. A wooden parapet tops the building. The facade features plain stucco bands at the floor and sill levels. It has recessed sash windows with glazing bars; the first-floor windows have exposed boxing. A recessed doorway contains a fanlight and a panelled door, and is paired with a segmental arched carriage entrance. Cast iron balconies are present on the first and second-floor windows. Nos. 8 to 20 form a group.
