Description
This building at 122 Hill Street in Glasgow is an early 19th century classical villa. It has two storeys and a basement, featuring three bays. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar with a rusticated basement. The entrance showcases a Greek Doric doorpiece, complete with a panelled door and a fanlight above. The windows are sash and case style, adorned with lugged architraves that splay onto a string course at the ground floor, while the ground floor windows have moulded cills and cornices. The end stacks have been removed, and there is a mutule cornice along the top. The parapet is raised at the center, and the roof is slate. Additionally, there are cast-iron spear-head railings surrounding the property.
