94 Hill Street, Glasgow

86 Hill Street in Glasgow is a classical tenement building dating from around 1860. It stands four storeys tall with a basement and features 17 bays. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone with a rusticated ground floor. On the ground floor, there are two plain doorways with fanlights located at the close entries in the fifth bay from either end. All the windows are sash and case style, with a cill band and architraves on the first and second floors. The first floor has block pediments and dentils on the four end bays, while the centre bays have flat cornices. The third floor windows have margins, and there is an eaves blocking course. The original end stacks have been removed, leaving three central stacks.

At the rear, facing Garnethill Street, the building also rises to four storeys and has a basement that extends to a full-storey rear basement. This elevation features seven bays with single light sash and case windows, except for the second bay, which is blind and runs the full height of the building.
