Description

Early 19th century classical villa. 2-storey, basement,

and attic. 3 bays. Droved ashlar with Roman Doric

doorpiece painted. Panelled double-leaf door. Fanlight

with glazing bars. All windows sash and case with

architraves and cornices; richly carved consoles on 1st

floor. Frieze, cornice, blocking course. Skews. Slate

roof.

Elevation to Garnet Street has 6 symmetrical window

openings and 1 attic window, 3 blind, 1 altered and 3

sash and case with 12-pane glazing pattern.

Right return elevation has similar arrangement with

alterations; 3 sash and case windows with glazing bars

remaining. End stacks, removed.

INTERIOR: includes Ionic screen in hall.

Droved, coped ashlar boundary wall with lintelled

entrance to rear of Synagogue at 29 Garnet Street.
