125 Hill Street, Glasgow

125 Hill Street in Glasgow is an early 19th century classical villa that features two storeys, a basement, and an attic. The building has three bays and is constructed from droved ashlar stone, with a Roman Doric doorpiece that has been painted. The entrance includes a panelled double-leaf door and a fanlight with glazing bars. All the windows are sash and case style, complete with architraves and cornices, and the first floor showcases richly carved consoles. The villa also has a frieze, cornice, and a blocking course, along with skews and a slate roof.

The elevation facing Garnet Street has six symmetrical window openings, one attic window, three blind windows, one altered window, and three sash and case windows featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern. The right return elevation mirrors this arrangement but has undergone some alterations; it retains three sash and case windows with glazing bars. The end stacks have been removed.

Inside, the villa includes an Ionic screen in the hall. There is also a droved, coped ashlar boundary wall with a lintelled entrance located at the rear of the Synagogue at 29 Garnet Street.
