NY 6127 TEMPLE SOWERBY TEMPLE SOWERBY

17/151 Antique shop to north of Village Hall 6.2.68 II Cottage, now used as a shop; possibly C17 or earlier with late C18/early C19 alterations. Lime-washed coursed rubble on plinth. Roof once thatched, now corrugated iron. Single storey with attic; 4 bays. Panelled door under wooden lintel has 2 large sashes with glazing bars, in stone surrounds, to left and a single sash with glazing bars under wooden lintel to right. 2 small Yorkshire sash windows just below eaves. Beamed interior with original panelled door; cast-iron cooking range to south end.
