Description
The Cedars is a house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features coursed rubble with a stucco front and has a graduated slate roof with stone chimneys. The original part of the house has a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front. There is a central panelled door, and the porch is supported by Tuscan Doric columns that hold up a segmental canopy with a moulded edge. There is a single sash window on either side of the door and three above it. The house has been extended into a cottage under the same roof on the south side, which includes 20th-century garage doors on the ground floor and two sash windows above, one of which is likely from the 20th century. All the sash windows do not have glazing bars. Myrtle Cottage, which is also under the same roof to the north, is not included in this listing.
