Description

This is a late 18th-century building originally comprising two cottages and a shop, now disused. It was altered in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick with a plain tile roof and a brick ridge stack. It is two storeys high and has a three-window frontage. A wooden shopfront, dating from circa 1875, is on the left, featuring pilasters and a cornice, and two shuttered windows. To the left of the shopfront is a wide, boarded door. To the right are two smaller boarded doors and a window. Above these openings are three Yorkshire sash windows, each with two lights. A continuous lean-to addition is located at the rear of the building.
