Description

A row of six cottages dating from the late 19th century, situated on The Green in Wilford, Nottingham. The cottages are built of red brick with tile and brick dressings, and have steep pitched slate roofs punctuated by three corbelled ridge stacks. A first-floor band runs along the facade. The cottages present a symmetrical appearance, with a side door and a single window to each house. They are arranged over two storeys and feature a six-window range. The windows are mostly original, being three-light glazing bar casements with segmental heads. First-floor windows are set within large through-eaves dormers, ornamented with bargeboards.
