Description
High Green House is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features Flemish-bond brickwork with rusticated stone quoins and moulded eaves. The roof is covered with graduated slate and has stone copings and kneelers, along with corniced stone chimneys at the mid and ends. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and five bays. It has a glazed central door set in an open wooden porch supported by square, fluted corner posts. There are two sash windows on either side of the door and five sash windows above, all without glazing bars and framed in architraves. Adjoining properties are not included in this listing.
