Description
Beech Cottage is a cottage located at the south end of Beech House in Temple Sowerby, likely built in the mid-18th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble with an incised stucco front. It features a graduated slate roof with stone coping and a kneeler on the south side, along with corniced stone chimneys at each end. The cottage has a two-storey, four-bay front, which includes two part-glazed doors in the center and a single casement window at either end, although the stone mullion is now missing. Above the doors are two similar windows, with a smaller window to the right.
