House extended into cottage and barn. 1848 date, with Gothic letter initials M.B., on shield to underside of porch roof; cottage and barn possibly earlier. House incised stucco with rusticated quoins, cottage pebble-dashed, barn slobbered rubble. Graduated slate roofs. 2 storeys, cottage and barn adjoining to right, lower than house. 10 bays (3:2:5) overall. Symmetrical 3-bay house: Central Tuscan porch in antis with panelled door in architrave; 16-pane sash to either side and 3 above. 2-bay cottage set back: Part-blocked door, with inserted window to left, casement to right and 2 Yorkshire sashes above; extended one bay into barn with part-glazed door and sash above. Remainder of barn has segment-headed wagon door and blocked door to left; sash to each floor between. House and cottage have stone copings and kneelers to roofs with brick end chimneys.
