Description

Townend Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features sandstone rubble walls that are painted and rendered at the front, with V-jointed quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance has a top-glazed panelled door set in a painted stone surround. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, also in painted stone surrounds.
