It features mixed sandstone rubble walls with flush quoins and is topped by a graduated greenslate roof with end sandstone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance is a centre top-glazed panelled door set within a 20th-century wooden gabled porch. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, framed by red sandstone surrounds. The adjoining outbuildings are not of interest.
