Description

Greystoke Primary School is a school building dated 1838, as indicated by the inscription "H.H. 1838" on the gable datestone. The structure features mixed calciferous and pink sandstone rubble walls with flush quoins. It has a graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a lower left single-storey, three-bay extension. The right side has a studded plank door set in a Tudor-arched surround. The ground floor includes cross-mullioned windows beneath three-light and single-light windows, and there is an open bellcote on the right. The extension also features cross-mullioned windows.
