Description

The garden wall and gateway in front of The Garth date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of pink sandstone ashlar. The wall is low with a moulded flat coping and is partly bowed, while the side wall is straight and features low square gate piers topped with shaped caps. This structure is listed for its group value with The Garth.
