Description

Bushby House is a late 18th-century house located in Greystoke. It is constructed of dressed mixed red and pink sandstone, featuring a string course, eaves cornice, and V-jointed quoins. The roof is graduated greenslate with coped gables and kneelers, topped with sandstone ashlar chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high, with four bays at the front and rear extensions forming a U-shape. The central entrance has a plank door and a wood-covered fanlight, set within a pilastered surround. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within raised stone surrounds.
