Description

Crossways is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted incised stucco with raised painted quoins, set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has ashlar banded chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a panelled door and sash windows that include glazing bars, all framed in painted stone surrounds. It is listed for its group value with the school opposite and for its prominent position when viewed from the village green.
