Description

The gate piers and garden wall in front of Thrimby Hall date from the late 17th century and have been rebuilt at various times. The wall is made of sandstone rubble and features a flat red sandstone coping. It includes central rusticated square piers topped with moulded caps. The low wall surrounds three sides of the garden and has a central gateway accessed by stone steps. There is also a smaller gateway without piers at the right junction with the house. This structure is listed for its group value with Thrimby Hall.
