Description
The gate piers, boundary walls, pump, and trough at the Hall date from the mid-18th century and 19th century. They are constructed from rubble limestone and gritstone ashlar. The gate piers at the south entrance are square in shape, rusticated, and feature moulded caps with ball finials. The boundary walls on each side of the road are approximately ten feet tall and have chamfered copings. The eastern wall continues as an enclosure for a walled garden and includes an 18th-century gateway, which has rusticated quoins on the south side and a moulded architrave with a keystone on the north side. Another wall extends north towards the Hall, separating the drive from the enclosed garden. This wall follows the road to the west, leading to the entrance of the stableyard, where there is another pair of gate piers. Adjacent to these is a 19th-century fluted metal pump and a stone trough. This structure is included for its group value only.
