Description
The Farm is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof on the south side and a stone slate roof on the north side. The building has three stone gable end stacks and one ridge stack, with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has an L-plan layout.
The south elevation consists of three bays, with the right two bays being symmetrical and earlier in design. This section includes a central doorway with flush jambs, a lintel, and a hoodmould, featuring a 20th-century glazed door. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows set in stone surrounds, with two similar windows located above. The left bay is an addition, showcasing a large 2-light window with glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and a single glazing bar sash window above, both with stone surrounds.
The north elevation features a tall staircase window and smaller 2-light square section flush mullion windows.
