Description

The Village Cross, likely dating from the 15th century, is constructed from gritstone. It features five circular stone steps that are connected by iron ties. The cross has an octagonal base and a shaft that transitions from square to octagonal. The shaft is significantly weathered, and it is topped with a circular cap that has a pyramidal peak.
