Description

Lowthwaite is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted rubble walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof, with rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. There is a 20th-century door set in a painted stone surround. The windows are Yorkshire sash style with glazing bars, also framed in painted stone surrounds with flattened segmental arches. At the rear, there is a full-width extension.
