Description
Grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a dentilled brick eaves cornice, a hipped slate roof, and end stacks with red brick shafts, two on each side. The building has three storeys and a three-window front, with three-light late 19th century and late 20th century casements in the original openings. The windows on the ground and first floors have segmental heads. The central entrance is marked by a wide gabled stone porch with stepped buttresses on each side, leading to a 20th-century glazed door.
