Description
Number 11 and the entrance to Yard 9 is a public house, originally known as the Slip Inn, which has since been converted into a shop. It dates from the 19th century and was refronted in 1865. The building features incised stucco and a moulded, cast-iron gutter supported by dentils. It has a graduated slate roof and a stone chimney at the east end. The structure is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The corniced wooden shop front projects, with a recessed, part-glazed door located to the left of a large plate-glass window. Both the door and window have segmental heads with patterned and coloured glass infill above. To the right, there is a 20th-century plank door leading to the yard entrance. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars.
