Description
No 10 Market Place is a shop from the mid-19th century, possibly with a re-fronted façade and featuring later alterations. The building is finished in incised stucco and has end pilasters. There is a band between the ground and first floors, with two strings between the first and second floors, and an interrupted string below the eaves. The roof is graduated slate and has rendered, corniced, end chimneys. The structure has four storeys and three bays. The shop front is from the 20th century. On the first floor, there are three sash windows, each positioned between tapered pilasters. The second floor has three sash windows, and the third floor features casement windows, all aligned between giant order tapered pilasters.
