Description

No. 2 Market Place is a shop built around 1818 for Edward Burton, with later alterations. The building features incised stucco and a moulded cast-iron gutter. It has a graduated slate roof with rendered, corniced end chimneys. The structure stands four storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, while the upper floors each contain two sash windows with glazing bars.
