Description

No. 36 High Street is a shop built around 1770. It features a stucco exterior and a tiled roof with a brick chimney stack. The building has a double-depth plan and is designed in the Georgian style, standing three storeys tall with a three-window range. The ends of the building are marked by rusticated pilasters, and there is a cornice at the top. The shop front has been altered in the 20th century. The upper floor windows are framed with architraves, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 9-pane sash windows on the second floor.
