Description
Nos. 26 and 30 Market Street are shops with accommodation above, likely built in the early 19th century. The buildings are finished in painted render and topped with a slate roof. They rise three storeys and feature a three-window range. The ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts, with No. 30 having an early 20th-century front. The upper windows are hornless glazing bar sashes, consisting of 20 panes over 16 panes, with timber reveals and projecting sills. The sashes at No. 26 have been replaced but remain within the original openings. These buildings are included for their group value.
