Description
Nos. 60 and 62 Market Street are two shops with accommodation above, dating from the early 19th century. They feature a painted render exterior and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with an attic and two bays each. The ground floor is occupied by shop fronts that have timber pilasters and fascias. The upper windows are framed with narrow painted surrounds, segmental heads, and projecting sills. The windows of No. 62 on the left are sashed without glazing bars, while those of No. 60 are sashed with glazing bars, except for the lower panes on the first floor which lack glazing bars. Each building includes a flat-roofed attic dormer, and there are chimneys on the gables.
