Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on Union Street, Ulverston. It is constructed with painted roughcast over a rubble base, and has a slate roof. The house is symmetrical in design, with three storeys and two window bays. The windows have projecting stone sills and painted timber reveals. The ground-floor windows are sash windows without glazing bars, while the upper-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A four-panel door is set within a painted stone doorcase featuring a Doric pilaster. A chimney on the right-hand side is shared with the adjacent property at No. 51 Market Street.
