House. Probably late C18, altered early C20. Roughcast over stone, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows to 1st floor; wing to rear. Central 6-panel part-glazed door in architrave under cornice on consoles. Open wooden porch of c1930 has dentilled gable and finial and is flanked by integral 4x1-light bay windows with stained-glass transom lights under slated lean-to roof with hipped ends. 1st floor: projecting sills and raised surrounds to C20 casements with stained-glass transom lights. Gutter on fascia with shaped brackets. Rendered end stacks. INTERIOR not inspected. Adjoins No.19 Market Place (qv) and forms part of Market Place group.
