Description

Spout House Farmhouse is likely of late 18th or early 19th century origin, with later 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with chamfered quoins and sandstone dressings, and has a graduated greenslate roof with a stone ridge. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. These are C19 sash windows with glazing bars set in stone surrounds. A central entrance features a 6-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, within a corniced stone surround. There is a corniced gutter and two end chimneys. A full-height stair window is located at the rear, with a round head and glazing bars.
