Description

This is a late 18th-century house, altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and banded limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is covered in collyweston slate, with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-bay front. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a traceried fanlight and panelled reveals, set within a wooden doorcase with dentillated details and an open pediment. Flanking the door are single plain sash windows. The windows on the first floor are also glazing bar sashes set under the eaves. The lower windows have ashlar lintels. Two gabled glazing bar sashes are visible in the roof, with rendered cheeks.
