Description

This is a late 16th-century house, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with ashlar quoins and dressings. The steep roof is covered in Collyweston slate, topped by a large axial stack with a brick base and three ashlar shafts, a cornice, and a 20th-century brick top.

The two-storey front has an irregular arrangement of bays. An off-centre half-glazed door is flanked to the left by a three-light mullioned window with a corniced head, and to the right by a two-story, separately gabled rectangular ashlar bay window containing single, three-light mullioned and corniced windows to both floors, each with a side light. A further half-glazed door and a 20th-century two-light stone mullioned window are located to the right. The first floor has two three-light and one four-light stone mullioned windows set under the eaves. All original mullions are ovolo moulded.
