Description
Holland House is a house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made around 1850. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of Collyweston slate, with stone coped gables and two stone gable stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and is two storeys high, plus attics, with a three-bay front that includes a first-floor cill band and a dentillated wooden eaves cornice.
The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a Gothick traceried fanlight, panelled reveals, and a rusticated semi-circular surround with stepped key blocks. This door is flanked by two-storey canted bay windows from the 19th century, which have plain sashes. Above the door, there is a plain sash window. The roof features three gabled glazing bar sash dormers with slate hung cheeks.
