Description

The White Horse Hotel is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Collyweston slate roof with stone coped gables and two ashlar gable stacks. The building is two storeys high with a garret and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door with a 20th-century pediment, which incorporates reused 19th-century Corinthian pilasters. On either side of the entrance are single glazing bar sash windows, and there are three similar windows on the first floor, all topped with 20th-century pediments. The hotel is included in the listing for its group value.
