Description
Nos. 31 and 33 on Church Street are two dwellings that were formerly one house. They date from the late 18th century and have been altered in the early 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of squared limestone rubble and has a Collyweston slate roof, featuring two yellow brick gable stacks. It has an L-plan layout and is two stories high with a four-bay front. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a 20th-century panelled door with a plain overlight, panelled reveals, and a wooden pilastered surround. To the left, there are two glazing bar sash windows, and to the right, there is a single glazing bar sash window, all with plain ashlar lintels. On the first floor, there are three similar windows at the eaves. This listing is included for its group value only.
