Description
Elm House is a house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It features coursed and banded limestone rubble with a stucco front, and a Collyweston slate roof with raised stone coped gables. The building has two storeys plus attics and a three-bay front, which includes a first-floor cill band and a dentillated cornice. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a plain overlight and panelled reveals, framed by a wooden Doric doorcase and flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all of which have moulded stone architraves. In the roof, there are two gabled glazing bar sash dormers with slate hung cheeks.
